Schoology & Adobe Flash

Since we mainly use Chrome, it is worth noting that Chrome is using Flash less and less in its ability to render sites. This is a known issue with Chrome vs Adobe. This is especially prevalent whilst using Schoology in Chrome. For those receiving an error, "You require the current version of Adobe" or something similar, you may try the following solution:

  • Arrive at the site you wish (e.g.
  • Click the padlock icon, found to the left of the "https" in your omnibox
  • Click "Site Settings"
  • Set Microphone, Flash and Pop-ups and Redirects to "Allow"
  • Close and reopen Chrome and try the site/links again
