TWIN VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT uses several Twitter accounts to communicate with the community and uses this useful tool as a means of informing the community about events, alerts and general announcements. Like the use of Twitter, the district uses Facebook as a platform for posting announcements and messages to the district community. Wherever possible, the district will inhibit the use of commenting; however, should comments be added to posts by those not directly associated with the ownership of the district's social media accounts, they do not represent the opinions or wishes of the district, nor should they be interpreted as such.
There is no such thing as a truly "private" social media site: search engines can turn up posts years after the publication date, comments can be forwarded or copied and archival systems save information even if you delete a post.
